Description

In the Kerala region of southern India, the district of Idukki is hidden away – a lush territory with a long history in the trading of spices. With an altitude of between 700 and 1000 m and characterised by rich rains, the hilltop territory of Idukki is the ideal location for the cultivation of cocoa, which breathes life into a special product. This cocoa grows together with fruit trees such as coconut, papaya, mango and banana, as well as spices such as black pepper, nutmeg, cardamom, which all provide a rich aromatic profile.

Pleasant initial acidic tones, followed by bitter and sweet aftertastes. Slight hints of fresh and dried fruits, complimented by floral scents.

Lecithin free.
